What Exactly Is Reiki?

Life force energy is present everywhere and emitted by all living things. The human body is made up of over 37 trillion cells which all communicate with each other using electrical impulses emitting this life force energy.

Stress, poor diet, and lack of sleep and/or exercise can cause blockages in the communication system which can cause aches, pains, physical and emotional problems if left untreated.

Reiki practitioners tap into the universal energy that is surrounding us and channels it to balance energy in the body and activate natural healing processes in the body. The Reiki practitioner is not doing any healing. They are simply a tool, like an extension cord, which connects the energy abundant around us to the recipient. The energy helps to clear blockages and restore the natural healing process of the body bringing balance to the body, mind and spirit.

Reiki is something everyone is able to receive Reiki as well as can be taught Reiki so it can be implemented into their daily life. Because modern society is very stressful with a lot of demands on us we are constantly knocking our natural balance out of whack and Reiki can counter the negative impacts and improve the quality of life.
